I walked away from the conference with unexpected friendships and I truly believe it was due to the foundation established for this conference.
The combination of professional time and free, fun, relaxation time was enjoyed by many of the attendees, and I think it was a wonderful opportunity for a lot of hardworking women to take some time for themselves, which is much needed.
The conference was excellent and I am so happy that you were finally able to make it happen despite all the scheduling curve balls you were thrown. The "inspired" feeling gained at the conference is one that followed me for weeks afterwards.
A truly unique and immersive experience. The quality time to connect with colleagues in between sessions and at and around the hotel grounds was a huge plus.
Great spot, easy to get to and a true get away - the hotel is just far enough out of town to feel like it was both a retreat and conference.

This was a truly amazing event with speakers that are leaders in the field and executive participation from throughout the State. I’ve been working in water for 28 years and I felt proud to be part of this event. As we all said at the conference—women are making a difference in the water world today!
This is the best conference I've been to in years. The panels were substantive and required a moderate to high level of knowledge, which was refreshing. The people at the conference were interesting, open, and inspiring. The conference was extremely well run and not overscheduled.
It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G and so inspirational. What a wonderful conference! I truly look forward to participating in future events - Well done!
I love the format of the panels and the candid and authentic nature of the conversations. Even if I am not learning something new about a topic, I feel I am still expanding my thinking of the issues. I never feel I am being spoken down to by the panelists - they are inspiring and encouraging; experts but approachable.

The location of the conference was wonderful—I found travel to Santa Barbara to be very easy and I know everyone loved the hotel and grounds.
I continue to be so impressed by the quality and diversity of the panels you assemble. Based on an aha moment from the climate change panel, I will be working to assess and waterproof our wastewater treatment plant because of current existing uncertainty and threats.

We all attend numerous conferences, but this one was at the top—very productive, informative and, most importantly, very intimate in a way that I think makes connections more lasting. I cannot put my finger on exactly what it was, but it was excellent.
Your panelists provided just the right balance by sharing their ‘lessons learned’ about becoming or being women in water and the technical issues and challenges they face in their field.
It was inspiring to hear from such amazing women across various areas of water, whose messages embodied empowerment, innovation, collaboration and grit. I am looking forward to continuing these discussions and strengthening the bonds formed with these women role models well into the future.
You pulled off an outstanding event, which surely will be remembered by all who attended as an extremely worthwhile experience.

Kudos to the organizers for a fabulous first conference of this sort! Great job on all the upfront organizational details, especially working with the moderators . I don't think I have ever laughed so much throughout an entire conference day—I think it was a sign of the congenial atmosphere and the recognition that we all have something very important in common.
I enjoyed this conference very much, more so than many other conferences I attend. The panel discussions were excellent and covered subjects in a way I have not heard before. Panelists and the keynote speaker were bright, articulate and thoughtful. I appreciate the effort that went into planning this event and hope for more in the future!
